chone Also, look at the pictures and video of Peyton Manning with the Lombardi trophy. The look on his face is the quintessence of smugness, arrogance and entitlement. Thanks Dr. Z, you made me get upset about this.

... The other thing that looks as if it is true is really the biggest form of cheating out of all the previous mentioned items. I know the other things, confirmed and unconfirmed, are pretty bad and are illegal, but it wasn't a direct way of messing with the other team. Did it put opponents at a huge disadvantage? Yes. But the following thing that actually happened to the Lions is just downright cheap. ...

Marinelli on Spygate: "I never said a word'
Published 9/14/2007 by Tom Kowalski at Detroit Lions Insider - MLive.com
Detroit Lions head coach Rod Marinelli said on Friday he has never commented publicly on the cheating scandal surrounding the New England Patriots, despite an SI.com report that quoted Marinelli. "The one thing I'll tell you - there's no quote behind my name. I never said a word. Somebody else is quoting me. I have no comment,'' Marinelli said. When questioned further about the SI.com report, Marinelli reiterated: "I have not ever spoken to anybody. Everything I've said (about the situation) is no comment. OK? No comment. Just like I've said all week here. I have not made one statement. If somebody wants to use my name and attach it to it, just make sure they put their name behind it.''

"Last Sunday New England went with a maximum security package to control the feared blitzes."
QB recognizes blitz, audibles to max protect scheme. Almost certainly cheating, since no other team in the NFL would do this.
