Extra Points — The Patriots will entertain free-agent offensive lineman Barry Sims on a visit at Gillette Stadium tomorrow. The visit was reported by the Sacramento Bee and confirmed this morning with Sims's agent, Ken Vierra. The Patriots seem to be interested in adding to their offensive line. As noted by ESPN.com's "Hashmarks" blog, the league average is 14 linemen per club and the Patriots are currently right at that number.
