As the Sixers continue their contract negotiations with restricted free agents Andre Iguodala and Lou Williams, they have reached an agreement with four year NBA free agent guard Royal Ivey.  Ivey played for the Milwaukee Bucks last year and spent the first three seasons of his career with the Atlanta Hawks, who drafted him in the second round in '04 out of the University of Texas. Royal Ivey is hardly the second coming of Michael Jordan, but he is an extremely good grab for the 76ers in the free agent market. Ivey is from my hometown of Queens, NY and is going to bring a take no prisoners toughness and perimeter D to the Sixers. If he plays to his full potential, he'll allow Ed Stefanski to greenlight a Willie Green trade.

The Sixers have yet to take care of their two restricted free agent guards, Andre Iguodala and Lou Williams, but they are still working to fill out their roster, signing guard Royal Ivey to a 2 year contract.
