Jason Reid has confirmed that the Redskins and New York Giants will play in the NFL season opener Thursday (Sept. 4) at Giants Stadium. An official announcement is expected to come Monday at the annual owners' meetings in Florida. The Washington Post just announced via Jason LaConfora’s blog that the Redskins will open the NFL season against the Giants in the Meadowlands on Sept. 4th.
