We actually signed a free agent! ESPN is reporting here that wide receiver and former Pro Bowl kick returner Jerome Mathis   has signed with the Redskins .  Mathis will add depth at wide receiver and special teams, but also comes with some baggage.  He’s had two recent run-ins with the law and has suffered through injury problems.  With luck, a change of scenery and a new team will help him get back to his 2005 pro-bowl form.
