AJ Vaynerchuk +1I hate Jason Taylor. The fact that he is leaving the Dolphins and leaving the AFC East doesn't change my hate for him (I'm a Jets fan)

Redskins Trade for Jason Taylor
Published 7/20/2008 by noreply@blogger.com (Russell) at East Coast Bias
... Very quickly after Daniels' torn ACL, the Redskins have acquired Jason Taylor from the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a 2nd round 2009 draft pick and a 6th round 2010 pick. Given that the Dolphins were rumored to be asking for a 1st round pick, the Redskins probably got good value in this trade. The Dolphins seem happy to be rid of Taylor, after his relationship with Parcells became strained during "Dancing with the Stars". ...

... Jason Taylor now plays for the Washington Redskins. Taylor was traded for the 2009 second round pick and the 2010 sixth round pick. This appears to be a great deal especially since he told the Redskins that he did not need to renegotiate his contract and would play it out with the two years remaining on it. ...
Dancing with the Skins: Jason Taylor traded to Washington

... It’s hard to believe that it took the loss of Philip Daniels to season-ending knee surgery to get the always active Daniel Snyder to trade for sack master Jason Taylor. But shortly after Daniels was lost for the season in 7-on-7 drills in practice, the team put together a package (2nd and 6th round draft picks) to acquire the 33-year old defensive end from the Miami Dolphins. ...

TAYLOR DEAL DONE
Published 7/21/2008 by Mike Florio at ProFootballTalk.com
... , that the Redskins and Dolphins have finalized a trade that will send defensive end Jason Taylor from Miami to D.C. Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports that, in addition to a second-round pick in 2009, the deal also includes a sixth-rounder in 2010 . The fact that the Redskins would move so quickly in the wake of a season-ending injury to an aging defensive end of their own, Phillip Daniels, seems odd, given that the ‘Skins likely could have scalped Taylor prior to the 2008 draft for one of their three second-round picks. Then again, Taylor might have insisted in April on a ...

Jason Taylor traded!
Published 7/21/2008 by Mario A. at Wax Heaven
... Well, there goes our one win for the year.
The Miami Dolphins traded away Jason Taylor to the Washington Redskins last night. As many might know, Jason and Dolphins management were not on good terms because of Jason’s appearance on ‘Dancing With the Stars’. I guess he was supposed to be training or something.
At 33 years of age I don’t know how much Jason has left in the tank but one thing is for sure, he wasn’t going to win a damn thing playing his home games at Dolphin Stadium. That’s pure Marlins ...

The Redskins scoop up Jason Taylor
Published 7/21/2008 by houroc at SportFiends
... ESPN is reporting that this deal came as a result of of the Skins losing Phillip Daniels for the year with a knee injury. I don’t believe that though. Daniels got injured yesterday during the morning and Jason Taylor has been on trade block for weeks but all of the sudden, the Skins are able to make a deal within a few hours to get him? Naw. They must’ve been looking at Taylor for a while and when Daniels went down, they finally decided to pull the trigger. ...
Monday afternoon Dallas Cowboys notes
Published 7/21/2008 by Brandon W at Blogging The Boys: Front Page Posts
... Jason Taylor has been traded to Washington for a second-round pick and a future sixth-rounder. The 'Skins have recently lost a couple of good pass rushers for the season due to injury and have replaced them with one of the best defensive ends in the NFL. While the Redskins' defense will certainly improve, I don't think this is anything for the Cowboys to panic about. Marc Columbo and Flozell Adams have been facing premier NFC East defensive lineman for the past few years; I don't think one more will make much of a difference. It will be a challenge but I think ...
