FanHouse — Filed under: Atlanta, Braves, NL East, MLB InjuriesJohn Smoltz is being held out of his spring start today because of tightness in his shoulder. The shoulder issue has been called "no big deal" (Smoltz), it has been referred to as "just a little tightness" (Roger McDowell) and it has produced a slew of insane, crazy, please-God-let-this-not-be-bad laughter (me). Smoltz is, of course, tentatively scheduled to be Atlanta's ace this year, and any injury to him would slot *gulp* Tom Glavine at the two spot in the rotation.
