How can DE George Selvie not be included? He was 1st team on 3 other lists, probably due to being 1 tackle-for-loss away from the single-season record and 2nd in the nation in sacks. He was huge in the win over Auburn and had one incredibly memorable play when he took down the QB before he handed it off to the RB, who stood still looking shocked. ... while intercepting 4 passes. He returned 2 of those for touchdowns and was also named Big East Defensive Player of the Week 2 times in a row this season. Wilson also started all 12 games and was second on the team with 106 tackles. He did have 1 interception which he returned for a touchdown.
