Will Pujols Accept the MVP Award?
TheScore.com Blog —
... it's actually not even remotely close. Howard wasn't even the MVP of his team-- Chase Utley anyone? His 199 strikeouts were only 5 fewer than the worst ever, and while, yes, I understand that you can strike out a ton and still have a great season, the guy only got on base 33.9% of the time, he hit .251, and his OPS+ was only 124-- compared to Utley's 135 and Pujols's's's one-freaking-ninety.
