The venerable and outstanding NBA announcer Kevin Calabro turns down an option to stay with the Thunder to remain in Seattle to call MLS. That's right, he would rather announce soccer than move to crapsville. In so doing, Calabro beats future NBA free agents to the punch by becoming the first talent to shun OKC. [link]

... to become the voice of Seattle Sounders FC when they join Major League Soccer next season. Apparently, Calabro had an option to stay with the Sonics, er, ThunderCats, er, just Thunder for the 2008-09 NBA season, but declined when the abrupt move to Oklahoma City became apparent.
