DeMayo says that the Mets have offered a 3 year contract worth roughly $36 Million dollars. The deal might have a 4th year option and it can total between $48-50 Million, when it is all said and done.
The Mets will back themselves up with by having face to face meetings with Trevor Hoffman, Kerry Wood, and Brian Fuentes to see where they stand. But K-Rod is there 1st choice!
