Cowboys about to hire new linebackers coach

It looks like we got a new LB coach. Wade Phillips will fill the final spot on his coaching staff by naming Reggie Herring as the Cowboys' linebackers coach, according to a source. Herring was named defensive coordinator at Texas A&M in January by new coach Mike Sherman. He was Arkansas' interim head coach for the Cotton Bowl. Herring, 48, has spent two years in the NFL, serving as Houston's linebackers coach in 2002-03 where he worked with Cowboys defensive coordinator Brian Stewart. Hey, this is good news. I've ...
