... Oh, not Rodney. The report that Rodney Harrison is about to be suspended for four games for human growth hormone use is just crushing. Sure, it’s a hit to the defensive plan for the first games of the season, but that’s not even foremost in my mind. He’s one of the guys I think of when I think Patriots. And when I think of that core group of guys, I have nothing but admiration. I’ve always seen him as a defensive leader, a hardworking guy, with a reputation for hitting hard and getting fined, sure, but ethical nonetheless. And maybe it’s not fair to hold any public figure up to a perfect standard, but I certainly held him to a higher standard than this. ...

... That's something that he's going to have to deal with, and we're going to do our talking on Sunday. What that means is Harrison will be taking extra doses of steroids while looking at Smith's picture this week. Looks like Harrison wasn't reading up on the league during his 4-game absence. All Smith's done is record 49 tackles (41 of 'em solo), an interception and forced fumble while primarily serving as a backup and replacement for Ryan Clark. Hmmm. I guess that HGH affects your mind as much as it does your body. Dick.

... I don't like the Pats, okay? I'm from Pittsburgh. They've crushed the Steelers' playoff chances more times than I care to recall, and this season they shut us up fairly easily.
