Their News: Multiple NBA sources have confirmed that Charlotte moving Gerald Wallace is imminent, but Pro Basketball News has yet to learn of a definitive destination at this time. Considering New York has also been tied as a possible destination for Harrington, the fact the Knicks have Eddy Curry collecting dust also makes them a potential partner in a multiple-team deal. BREAKING NEWS: Bobcats To Trade Gerald Wallace
Dime Magazine —
... but would they be willing to part with Leandro Barbosa to get Wallace? * Miami - That Marion -for-Wallace trade makes sense if Charlotte could somehow convince Matrix to sign an extension with the team before pulling the trigger. * New York - The Knicks basically have to be mentioned in every trade conversation. They might not be serious contenders to get Wallace, but they’ll probably dangle the standard offer of Curry/Marbury and see what MJ says for a good laugh. Source: Pro Basketball News

... A little over a year ago I thought the Dallas Mavericks should've pushed hard and heavy to sign Bobcats guard Gerald Wallace. He's young, exciting, a scorer and a guy who racks up steals and blocks. An athlete, something missing from the Mavs for a long time. Then the Bobcats threw the bank at him and that was that. Word is now that the Bobcats want to trade Wallace. If I'm GM Donnie Nelson I'm calling the Bobcats to see how desperate they are to get rid of him. Furthermore, I see how sick the 'Cats are of Ray Felton. As a back-up point guard, he ...
Gerald Wallace Trade Imminent?
Rufus on Fire —
Prepare for the crap to hit the fan. There is at least one published report that Gerald is on his way out. Wallace probably has the most value to other teams because his contract is very reasonable for the production he brings. However, I can't imagine the Bobcats getting back equal value, even equal future value. Consider the options: 1) Working a three way deal in which Crash ends up in Golden State, Al Harrington ends up in New York, and Charlotte gets the booby prize of Eddy Curry and David Lee is pointless for the Cats to facilitate. Getting Harrington ...

Healthy and wealthy in basketball wonder. So what's a talent-strapped team to do? Trade him, of course. From Pro Basketball News: ...

... Anyway, there's bound to be some serious forward drama in Carolina soon, as the franchise is apparently dead-set on trading Gerald Wallace. Lately Adam Morrison and Matt Carroll have been splitting the backup SF role, which makes sense, because they suck and the Bobcats suck... That's called synergy, you guys. Heads up for the DJ Augustin minutes-creep... there's no way he's not averaging 25+ in another month as Raymond Felton makes his case for benching. ...
