Jeremy Shockey Traded To The Saints By The Giants For 2nd And 5th Round Draft Picks
FanIQ Blog —
It's about time this finally happened. Jeremy Shockey has finally been traded by the Giants to New Orleans (pending a physical, of course). Hell, as far as I'm concerned, they could have just dumped him in New Orleans and I would have considered this a great deal. Instead, the Giants will get future 2nd and 5th round draft picks, which is not a bad haul.
Interestingly, the compensation is the same thing the Saints offered New York back in April during the draft, and it was turned down. Perhaps Shockey found some way to piss off the Giants yet again that we don't yet know about.

At the same time, Kevin Boss is looking like a possible top-10 candidate among fantasy TEs, given the new depth chart in New York (none of the guys behind Boss - Michael Matthews, Jerome ...
