Pacman Willing To Compromise
MVN Outsider —
ESPN.com reports that Pacman Jones wants to be traded to Dallas so badly that he’s willing to work out a compromise. This would be that he’d give the Titans his $1.2 million performance bonus back, in exchange for Tennessee to not demand that he give them back his $1.275 signing bonus.
Talks over the last few days have been slowed by this problem, with the Titans wanting the Cowboys to pay them at least a portion of the money they gave Pacman. However, if they accept this deal with Jones, it will no longer be an issue.
Then the only thing left to work out would be the compensation. Right now, the Titans want a fourth rounder for this year ...
Pacman Willing to Forgo $1.2M From Titans if It Gets Him to Dallas Faster
FanHouse —
Filed under: Cowboys, Titans, NFL Fans, NFL Rumors Well, we're on Day 29 of the "Pacman to Dallas" storyline and here's what we know: the Cowboys are interested in acquiring Jones and the Titans are interested in dumping him; there's just the issue of working out the details. So, basically, nothing's changed in almost a month. Earlier this week, FanHouse's J.J. Cooper pointed out that a potential Pacman trade had hit a snag -- the Titans want a 2008 fourth-rounder and a 2009 pick for Jones and the Cowboys are only interested in parting with a late-day pick in '08. Now, though, ESPN's Ed Werder writes ...

Dallas Cowboys reading material
Blogging The Boys —
Here’s some reading material for a Saturday. The requisite Pacman section. (Don’t hate on me, it’s a story, I have to cover it). The latest news is that Pacman will forgo some bonus performance money he’s owed (1.2 million) in exchange for the signing bonus that the Titans say Pac owes them (1.275 million). That signing bonus was what the Titans asked Dallas to pay that added further complications to the deal this week. Hat tip to BTB-regular DaveTroll for this diary. Nick Eatman has a few more Pacman thoughts. Some of you wanted Pacman to start giving back to the community as ...
TITANS SHOULD FIRE FLOYD REESE AGAIN
ProFootballTalk.com —
Okay, so let’s get this straight. With full knowledge of cornerback Pacman Jones’ potential to become a problem (he had at least one run-in with the law after he was drafted in 2005 and before signing his rookie contract), the Tennessee Titans still included $6 million of guaranteed base salary in the out years ...
The Mid-day Roundup: Kevin Love, You Lose
The Big Lead —
Yesterday we celebrated Elizabeth Hurley, and today we look to the long-legged beauty Stacy Keibler, she of WWE and Dancing with the Stars fame.
I miss Stacy. She seems so warm and loving, like someone you could bring home to mom with a smile on your face. She’s got some other things going for her as well. Quite a talented, intelligent beaut, I must say. Most importantly, she’s really, really hot.
I mean, this is just a vicious offering from Chris Douglas-Roberts over Kevin Love [StetSports]
