Santana Update: Sox to Improve Offer
Published 12/4/2007 by McFleece at MLB Fleece Factor
John Heyman is reporting that the Red Sox are preparing to “revamp” their proposal for Twins ace Johan Santana. Jacoby Ellsbury’s Ceiling

What is the real ceiling of Jacoby Ellsbury in the major leagues? Will this be a deal, if consummated and the Twins value Ellsbury more than Phil Hughes, that is ultimately regretted and used as a lesson in the same fashion as the Mirabelli deal (obviously not on the same scale, just that the Mirabelli trade was a definite panic move)?
