For the much awaited test-match vs. the Spanish armada, Italian coach Roberto Donadoni dished out the list of his 21 call-ups earlier this week-end. The fortunate elects include Marco Borriello (thus confirming the Genoa striker in the probable vice-Toni role) but (unsurprisingly) not Alessandro Del Piero. If you ask me, the Juve captain will have to watch Euro 2008 from his living room telly.

... see if Aragones gives de la Red a chance, and whether Fabregas and Torres can reproduce their club form for the national team.
On the Italian front, Chiellini is perhaps unfortunate to miss out and Cassano, for all his troubles, is a bit of a surprise inclusion to the squad. Methinks that Del Piero and Chiellini may still end up going to Euro 2008, although when you look at this current Italian squad it seems a bit light upfront.
