Walk Off Balk — ... Series. The Boston Red Sox have now won 2 World Series in the past 4 years. Even though the Rockies made games 3 & 4 close, you never got the feeling that they were really in it. It was simply a dominating performance by the BoSox.Mike Lowell was the 2007 World Series MVP, hitting .400 and playing a flawless 3rd base as usual.
