ESPN Toggles The NBA Draft Coverage
I Dislike Your Favorite Team — Stephen A Smith will no longer be yelling the front desk. I'm oddly disappointed by this news, though I'm thrilled that Jeff Van Gundy will be there at the main desk. His work throughout the NBA playoffs was spectacular. Funny, insightful, opinionated, and oft venturing into weird tangents that made even the down moments of a game entertaining. My personal favorite (I paraphrase): "I got my haircut today, and they charged full price, but look at my head--it is half the work! I mean, c'mon, why do I gotta pay the same amount as someone who has a full head of hair?"

QUITE FRANKLY, I DIDN'T WANT TO BE ON THE MAIN STAGE!
RealClearSports - Blog — ... won the championship Tuesday. I used to dislike Stephen A. Smith, but I think he has gotten a bit of a sense of humor about himself and now I tend to enjoy listening to him. I also think he's very knowledgeable about the NBA and I'm interested to see how he handles his new assignment. But, what I'm most interested to see is how heckling Smith will be handled this year and how many bags of cheez doodles he eats. Vegas has the over/under at 3.5 bags. (H/T: Awful Announcing)

I like Delonte West, and this is a smart move, I think. As long as they trade for Redd. I don't know whether this is just another sign that the Grizzlies are perpetually doomed, or if this is a sign of hope. Either way, it's awesome that he recovered, and we're pulling for him.
