Then when it was Childress, I thought much along the same lines as Basketbawful, that this is no big deal, that it's not the first or last time an NBA player has made the jump, and for a guy like Childress it makes worlds of sense. Childress is the type of guy who would want to see the world, to experience new cultures, and was inevitably going to get screwed by his restricted free-agent status.
