Giant Football Blog — Michael Strahan didn't figure to be on the TV market for long, and he wasn't. As expected, he landed on Fox, with which he has a longstanding relationship and which is based near his California home. The network will make the announcement this morning; SI.com first reported the news yesterday. Continue

Sports stories from NewsdayHere is my small story in the Tuesday newspaper about Michael Strahan joining the Fox pre-game crew. I am sure he will have entertaining things to say about all this today, and his comments will appear in the Wednesday newspaper. Probably even Tuesday night, if you check Newsday.com. I think Strahan is going to be very good at TV, and that in the long run he should go to the game booth. Studio shows will not fully take advantage of his abilities.
