Report: If He Returns to the NHL, Sundin Picks the Canucks
Published 7/19/2008 at Kuklas Korner
This Swedish article at DN.se (Dagens Nyheter) has been translated below, as has this article from AftonBladet. But here are the high points from the original DN report:
DN has a source stating that Mats Sundin has decided that—if he does return to the NHL—he will be playing in Vancouver

The complete DN report is translated (terribly) by Google, below. Below that is the Aftonbladet translation, summarizing ...
Swedish newspaper DN's sources say Sundin will play in Vancouver

I don't know squat about this newspaper or its creds, but they posted a piece about Sundin today that I had to run through a translator. It reads as follows: Rangers wanted to have him, Detroit likewise. Probably half NHL also. But according to information to today's news has Mats Sundin now certain himself traveled to extend his career, in an entirely other klubb. He leaves Toronto, the ice hockey's capital, where he been bigger than the town's mayors, for Vancouver, where he becomes law friend with among the other brothers Sedin. A source to today's news says following about Sundins ...

But that he would be ready to give an answer to that question as early as next Friday he denies. That contradicts what Sundin's agent JP Barry told the Team 1040 on Tuesday as to what would be a reasonable timeline for Sundin to make a decision. Great. Just great.
