Kiefaber I know they were saying that Atlanta could be involved.However, why don't the Hawks try to do a straight-up offer.

chowell18 This trade certainly doesn't seem to be that serious.
Marion doesn't want to go to Minnesota or Boston, so a team would be stupid to trade for him and then lose him to free agency (2 yrs).
I also don't see why the Suns would want to trade Amare for Garnett, when STAT is younger and more of a late game player. KG has been known to choke in late games, usually due to his unwillingness to shoot.
