Super Bowl Picks
Like I said on Monday, today marks a big extravaganza here at The Hot Route. I collected 24 Super Bowl picks from some excellent blogs and included them below. If this is your ...

Super Bowl XLII Pick: Pats 41, Giants 17
Dan Shanoff — ... that my final vote in the "19-0 vs. 18-1" poll was to see the Greatest Upset Ever over the Greatest Season Ever. For superlative purposes, I can't lose, but I'd like to see the Pats lose slightly more than I'd like to see the Pats win.) Submit your own picks in the Comments -- "Morning Quickie"-style! I want to know who you think will win, the score, your pick for MVP, your pick for a darkhorse MVP and any other (short) analysis you want to offer up. Girls Gone Sports — ... different blog's picks for that little game that is coming up on Sunday. Girls Gone Sports participated. Mandy wrote it because I have an inability to think in "10 words or less" type situations. I did however try and send it in and I screwed it up so bad that Mandy had to fix it. I may or may not have had a few too many frosty libations during breakfast. Drunk at 10am at work? Check. Mandy fixes your problems so it doesn't matter? Check. I win at life. Anyways, here is the link to the post! Enjoy. (Oh, and our pick is the best. Duh.)

SPORTS COUCH POTATO — ... of sports bloggers from across the sphere and while the results clearly tilt towards the favored New England Patriots, there are enough New York Giants supporters to make it interesting. While Chris sees the Pats winning an entertaining shootout 33-27, the Spud likes the Giants 24-23 under the theory that New York's defensive line and linebackers will keep New England quarterback Tom Brady off-kilter just enough to enable Tom Coughlin's team to eke out the victory. I Dislike Your Favorite Team — ... better than the Giants. NY backers are seemingly blind that Eli Manning's recent improvement may have something to do with the fact that he was playing against NFC defenses, and that his defense wasn't playing AFC Offenses. I can think of 5 teams in the AFC that I'd pick to beat the Giants Sunday. The Patriots are at the top of that list. Patriots 38, Giants 24. For picks by bloggers who actually had their shit together, and participated in that survey I mentioned at the top, visit The Hot Route .
