  Sterling's attempt to comfort Waldman was ridiculously awkward: "he's made a LOT of money ... etc, etc, yadda-yadda ... he'll also get million-dollar offers from broadcasting, and he doesn't have to be, you know, the 'athlete' coming in there; he can be the lead."

   Maybe she was crying becuase  she finally realized that she stinks at her job

    between her and harry moskowitz (aka John Sterling) the Yankee radio booth is the laughing stock of sports talk stations around the country

   200 million dollar player payroll and a broadcast team thats not worth a dime
