‘SVU’ closet case slams close to home Links6
O bviously, it s no secret that the New York fans hate/are-jealous-of all of our Boston sports heroes. But Tuesday night s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit was a low blow - even for the Appleholes! In an episode titled The Closet, a pro football player who wears No. 12, has a cleft chin and a supermodel galpal, plays in a red-and-blue stadium and is the best quarterback in football is the ... Did Law & Order Use A Tom Brady Clone For A Storyline?
Published 4/24/2008 by Awful Announcing- at Awful Announcing
There's a hilarious story out of Boston today. Apparently Law & Order SVU modeled a character after Tom Brady and get this.....the character was the prime suspect in a gay murder! Here are the similarities: A pro football player who wears No. 12 (Check!), has a cleft chin (Check!), date a supermodel galpal (Check!), plays in a red-and-blue stadium (Check!), and is “the best quarterback in football” (Enh...debatable, but Check!). Now for the rest of the story via the Boston Herald..... Anyway, the QB ends up getting arrested and convicted for the crime - even though someone else did it - but who cares about any of that? We’re still ...

Law & Order Storyline Looks Eerily Similar to a Certain New England QB
Published 4/24/2008 by Sportz Assassin at FanHouse
Filed under: Patriots, AFC East, Boston, New York (Major hat tip to Awful Announcing on this one). Tuesday night's "Law & Order: SVU" (a show my wife watches) had a storyline about a professional quarterback who wears the #12, plays for a team that wears blue and red, dates a supermodel and is one of the top QBs in the league. Sounds like a certain MVP named Tom Brady, doesn't it. Oh, and the character is also the main suspect in a gay murder. AA grabbed this quote from the Boston Herald: Anyway, the QB ends up getting arrested and convicted for the ...

Fictional gay Tom Brady wanted in fictional murder of gay lover
Published 4/24/2008 at Shutdown Corner
The only Law & Order I've ever seen, I've seen accidentally when I tuned in to watch an NBA game on TNT a little early. But I understand that they've got a reputation for designing plot lines that closely mirror things that are actually happening in the headlines right now. And if that's the case, they evidently believe that Tom Brady is gay and capable of murdering his gay lover. From the Boston Herald: In an episode titled “The Closet,” a pro football player who wears No. 12, has a cleft chin and a supermodel galpal, plays in a red-and-blue stadium and is “the best quarterback in football” is the ...

Tom Brady Murders His Gay Lover. Or So Law & Order: SVU Tells Me.
Published 4/24/2008 at FanIQ Blog
Man, what's that smell? Oh right, it's a lawsuit. In a move that almost defies comprehension, Law & Order: SVU decided to take the Boston/New York rivalry over the cliff with a ludicrous episode entitled "The Closet" that appeared on TV Tuesday night. In the episode, a pro football player who wears No. 12, has a cleft chin and a supermodel girlfriend, plays in a red-and-blue stadium and is "the best quarterback in football" just so happens to be the prime suspect in a gay murder. Saucy! The names are a bit different, of course. Brady is Lincoln Haver in the episode, and Gisele is Natasha Gorski. Bill ...
