Game 3: Rockets vs. Jazz
Published 4/24/2008 by UofTOrange at The Dream Shake - a Houston Rockets blog
... it every single game. My hat is off to those loud, whiny, dressing alike bastards. Going into the game, Tracy is at it again, proving once again, you don't play with your mouth. The Rockets are down 2-0 and while, in an effort for full disclosure, we and just about everyone else have been harder on him than is probably necessary, he still is the "superstar" and needs to just suck it up. From Jonathan Feigan's article in the Chronicle today: "It's my fault," McGrady said. "It's my fault we missed free throws. It's my fault ...

I have, however, found numerous other African proverbs involving leopards that I hope he breaks out in Game 3, such as the Nkundo-Mongo zingers: " The foolish little antelope cut firewood for the leopard" or " The small spotted wild cat mistook the leopard for a relative! " To which J.R. could reply with the classic Baluba retort: "The leopard's skin is beautiful, but his heart evil." Also, read the new Quotemonger , and the McGrady quote that helps a little (found via Mutoni ).

[image] If you're like me, you look upon Tracy McGrady as a hard luck friend and tire of the heartless "he's a soft batch loser" criticism. Sometimes, just thinking about his playoff misfortunes are enough to ruin your week. Which is why it's refreshing, and a relief, to see McGrady making light of his dire predicament. From The Houston Chronicle : "It's my fault," McGrady said. "It's my fault we missed free throws. It's my fault we lost both games. Blame me. It's my fault we fouled to tie the game up. That's my fault. It's my fault they get easy layups. It's my fault we're ...
It's All T-Mac's Fault: Just Ask Him
Published 4/24/2008 by Brett Edwards at FanHouse
... . Well, we saw how that turned out: the Rockets were taken out by the Utah Jazz in seven games. This season, T-Mac has been a little more light hearted in discussing his frustration with never making it out of the first round, and after two home losses to the Jazz, he's willing to accept the blame ... for everything that's ever happened. ...
