T-minus 30 minutes to The Mitchell Report
The Mitchell Report is set to get dropped in one hour, and when it does BASEBALL WILL NEVER BE THE SAME!!! Unless the list mainly contains players that everyone pretty much knew were doing something. There is a list of names named floating around the Internet right now. I'm skeptical because Rich "El Gordo" Garces is on that list. No joke.

Mitchell Report Conclusions
hardballtimes.com 12/13/2007 — The Mitchell Report was released today, and everyone is all ga-ga about the players named on the list. Personally, I couldn't care less. I haven't read the entire report yet (it's over 400 pages!), but I do want to reiterate its conclusions. Here they are, copied directly out of the report:
The All-Snubbed Team: These players want to know why THEY weren’t named in the Mitchell report
bugsandcranks.com 12/14/2007 — Let’s face it, the Mitchell report didn’t include ALL the names we expected to see. Frankly, the preemptive list circulating this morning, which Deadspin posted and which several “respected” news organizations such as MSNBC ...
So, who’s getting fired over this? The LoHud Yankees Blog
In the hours leading up to the release of the Mitchell Report, an e-mail listing the players about to be named was dropping into in-boxes around the country. It was a fake. I suspected as much when I saw the name of Rich Garces, a rotund former Red Sox reliever whose performance enhancer of choice was probably nacho cheese. But WNBC in New York ran the list on its web site. Worse, they ...

Mitchell: He Named NamesGreen Pinstripes
Tis the season for lists.  Usually they're shopping lists. Not today. George Mitchell came out with his performance-enhancing hit list on Thursday and the baseball world may never be the same.  Here's a link to the players and how or why they were named in the report.  In all, 89 current and former players were revealed. The names ranged from superstars to mediocre ...
Weighing In On The Report, And Then SomeMets Merized Online
After taking some time to sift through the enormous amount of data in the Mitchell Report, I wanted to weigh in on it from a Mets fan's perspective and also from a baseball fan's point of view. From what I could see after sorting through the list of players, I was happy to find that there were no current Mets. (Whew) Learning that Paul Lo Duca was named in the report was a real ...

Just Like Santa Claus: The Leaked Mitchell Report List Checked TwiceFakeTeams
Using the Find function in Adobe Acrobat, I searched for each name in the early morning list that sped through the internet. Of the 74 named players on the list, 55.4% were named in the report. How this list was complied before being leaked to WNBC.com is not known right now. However, the spelling mistakes could be a result of a rushed effort to copy them and send it out as quickly as ...

The Mitchell ReportSwing and a Miss
Heroes and knaves. All-Stars and also-rans. The Mitchell report named names and pointed enough fingers at just about everyone in baseball when laying blame for the steroid cloud that has hung over the game for more than a decade now. The list everyone was waiting for included guys who threw the ball and guys who sent it back the other way...a long way. It also included players who will be ...
Players Mentioned In The Mitchell ReportFoul Balls
I haven't finished reading all 409 pages or anything, but I did notice that Will posted a complete list of all the players named in the report over at Deadspin, so I'm just going to steal that list and post it here for you. Players Named In Mitchell Report - Most Surprising? Not Lenny DykstraFanIQ Blog
Here's the full Mitchell Investigation Report. It's 409 pages so I clearly haven't read through it all, but below is the list in order of which the names are presented starting on page 149. This is by no means the definitive list, Sammy Sosa or Mark McGwire isn't on it after all, but a great start for baseball's effort to clean up the game. Also a great day for fans, answering just a few ...

16 current or former Yankee players, 1 former Yankee coach named in Mitchell ReportProjo Sox Blog
Roger Clemens and Andy Pettitte headed a list of 16 current and former Yankee players who were named as potential users of performance-enhancing drugs in the Mitchell Report. In addition, Brian McNamee, the team's assistant strength and conditioning coach in 2000 and 2001, cooperated with Mitchell and gave great details into Clemens' alleged steroids use. According to the report, McNamee ...

The Mitchell ReportShysterBall
Read it here . It's over 400 pages, so you may want to make a cup of tea first. A quick scan doesn't reveal any nice clean list or appendix of named of players, so we're going to have to, you know, actually read the thing to get the names. I'm sure someone will have it up soon enough. The names themselves don't interest me nearly as much as the entirety of the narrative. People have been ...

Preliminary Possibly-Leaked Mitchell ReportTwinkie Town
UPDATE: As noted above, this list was complete and total crap. The Mitchell Report may end up being 300 pages of reprimand for both the league and the players' association, but 95% of the attention paid to the document will focus on one thing: the list of players named.   Deadspin, among other places , has posted a preliminary maybe-this-is-it-maybe-it's-not list. The only three ...

The following list of players was compiled by a person who is closely connected to MLB. I received the list from a trusted friend who has access to a lot of news sources and vouches for its accuracy.
