Tom Rock has the contract information on the Newsday blog about the Kerry Rhodes deal
It’s for five years and is worth $33.5 million with guaranteed money of $20,002,000.00. Why is that $2,000 significant enough to talk about? Because it gives Rhodes the most guaranteed money of any safety in NFL history, bettering the flat $20 mil that Bob Sanders got last year by two grand.

The on-again, off-again, on-again, off-again talks between the New York Jets and the Denver Broncos could be on, again. Tom Rock of Newsday expects a trade to come on draft weekend , possibly for a second-day draft pick. Per Rock, the Broncos and Robertson already have a contract in place. And the contract is the key component of the equation, given that the Jets owe Robertson a roster bonus of $3 million in early June and a base salary in excess of $6 million for 2008, the final year of his rookie contract.
