Dellucci's Hotshot tale and the Marte Buffet
The Tribe Daily —
I'm not sure what was behind the story that David Dellucci decided to tell reporters, but it's kind of rotten. Think of it as a plot line for the cool, womanizer in the group of friends of a sitcom. Go back through all those sitcoms in the past few decades and you'll find an episode along the lines of Dellucci's story. See, Dellucci has his left thumb wrapped up, as you can see in this picture, and he decided to explain to reporters just why. "Right before I came here," Dellucci explained, "I was fishing on the side of my lake, and I heard a little boy screaming. I ran over there, and an alligator had him by the leg. I jumped on the ...
Unfortunately, David Dellucci’s Hand Not Bitten Off by Alligator
Bugs & Cranks —
Late last week, David Dellucci announced to reporters that he injured his hand by saving a youngster from certain death at the hands of an alligator. The Indians left fielder allegedly saw a young boy in the jaws of the fierce gator while fishing on a local lake.
But as it turns out, it was all an elaborate ruse designed to get me excited by the possibility of Dellucci’s premature, one-handed retirement. In fact, the oft-awful outfielder injured his hand by slamming it in his pickup truck and received a few stitches at the local Urgent Care Center. (I did not, for the record, need further reason to dislike David Dellucci, but a self-inflicted pickup truck ...

David Dellucci keeps his job, for now

It is a statement that is loud and clear. The fans dislike ...

Changing Of The Guard In Cleveland

Dellucci to the DL: Maybe Dreams Do Come True?
