Astros GM Ed Wade has to be stewing about this, despite comments that seem to indicate otherwise. He swung the deal to acquire Tejada the day before the Mitchell Report was released (kinda dumb, right?), and now this, which he couldn't help.

Maybe 10-15 years ago, fastbreakblog. But I think these days, MLB has tightened the loopholes. Besides, I really don't get the difference in age. What's 2 years? Wasn't a 19-year-old phenom impressive enough? I mean, he signed with the A's for crying out loud. Honesty is always the best policy, and obviously Tejada doesn't have a firm grasp on that. (imo) He didn't come clean until he was busted -- and that's the only reason he did.
