 Temp Agency Sends In Replacement
First of all, I’d be remiss if I didn’t applaud Martha for the contributions she’s made to the offside since her arrival. I personally found the page through her - first post was one involving Marco Borriello and STDs, which details the quality of my google searches - and ended up staying. Behind the scenes (yes, there is one), when Martha informed us of her departure, we ... [link]

Rosenborg 0, Fiorentina 1: Match “Recap” (Well, Sorta)
Published 2/15/2008 by Ted at Fiorentina
... | February 15th, 2008 Yesterday Fiorentina gave a much-needed Valentine’s Day gift to their fans by defeating Rosenborg 1-0 in the first leg of their Round of 32 UEFA Cup tie. Rosenborg, ( as Chris pointed out yesterday ) is a pretty good club, so Fiorentina has to be satisfied about getting the win (and the valuable away-goal) on the road. Nothing is close to guaranteed, but at least the Viola are now in the driver’s seat for the return leg. I can’t really recap the match here since, well, I didn’t actually see it. I was at my pesky “real” job, so I followed the ...

Tennessee Titans in free agency

Like every other team in the league, the Titans have a sizable number of players who will be effected. Those not tagged, resigned or tendered will become free agents, so Mike Reinfeldt, Jeff Fisher and the Titans’ staff have some decisions to make. Free Agency Scouting Reports: Flozell Adams and Ken Hamlin
Before we get to the scouting reports, let's quickly point out that 2 more players have been "franchised" by their respective teams.  The first is Jared Allen , who recorded 15.5 sacks last year for the Chiefs.  The other franchise tag was used by the Bengals.  But it wasn't on who most would think.  They placed their franchise tag on Stacy Andrews , the massive offensive ...

Samuel to Have Plenty of Interest in Free Agency
While he is certain to look for greener pastures, there are a number of teams that could use the services of a shut down corner like the Pats Asante Samuel, who is sure to command top dollar on the free agent market much like what former Bill now 49′er Nate Clements got last year. Samuel did what he had to do this past season, making plays for the Pats and staying healthy to make it to ...

Saints Need to Spend Big in Free Agency

Second and of course more importantly, there are exactly two weeks remaining until NFL free agency begins. That’s right, the NFL ...
Patriots could still prevent Samuel from reaching free agency
Asante Samuel made sure the New England Patriots can't use their franchise tag on him again this offseason, but that doesn't mean the team can't stop the coveted cornerback from reaching free agency, which begins Feb. 29 according to the Boston Globe. Free Agency, as we know, begins at the stroke of midnight on February 29th.  Which gives us two reasons to celebrate: leap day and the beginning of the mass spending and crazy rumor filled hype of Free Agency.  It's like a team is reborn with every signing.  The hype drum is banged by the media, and all of a sudden the most hopeless team has a real shot, at least in theory. ...
