1. The golden leg of one Adrian “Purple Jesus” Peterson. Word is he has a PARTIAL TEAR of the lateral collateral ligament, an injury that is not considered season-ending. That’s reasonably good news, though e-mailer Jim offers the following question: “If Adrian Peterson’s knee injury had been more serious, would his new nickname be Purple Barbaro?” Too soon, Jim.
