... At least Pitt wasn't alone in getting upset on Saturday, as No. 1 UNC went down at home to Maryland. (Their fans didn't exactly take it well..) 3 other teams ahead of Pitt also went down (UCLA, Texas A.M., and Ole Miss). Marquette (13th) also lost to UConn on Sunday. The new rankings come out later today. Pitt faces St. Johns on the road on Wednesday. ...

By now everyone has seen the video of the UNC sloots crying over a loss. This wasn’t the NCAA tournament, mind you, this was a mid-season January L that sent the whine and cheese faithful into full on sob-mode. What’s being lost in all this, however, is the UNC fan yelling “Go back to the ghetto!” to the Maryland players as they walk off the court. Listen closely at the 5 second mark of this video below.
