Terry Hoeppner has died at the age of 59, according to sources close to the Miami program . This is still breaking, so we’ll update shortly. Hoeppner had recently announced that he was not going to coach Indiana in 2007 due to ongoing treatment for cancer. Hoeppner: 1947–2007. [link]

Hoosier Head Coach Terry Hoeppner, who gained the respect of every football fan out there by coaching just a few days after brain surgery to remove a tumor, has succumbed to cancer.
