... due to a fall down the stairs in his Philadelphia home today. He worked for his hometown Phillies on their cable outlet, and for MLB.com, where he hosted a show. He was just 45 years old. I remember when he first came up to the Red Sox in the late 1980s, with a lot of promise. He played for 11 seasons, and also for the Texas Rangers and Seattle Mariners. ... I'm still a little concerned about the linebacking core because we should've kept Kawika Mitchell because he fit our defense. I am also a little stunned and surprised at the same time we drafted Andre Woodson (QB) from Kentucky.
