 The Best Western Man-Child Is...
If you asked a random cross-section of NBA fans who the best young big man (23 years old max) in the league was, Dwight Howard would rightfully win unanimously. Let's limit it to the Western Conference, though: Would you pick Al Jefferson or LaMarcus Aldridge ? Jefferson is only a few months older, so it's a fair comparison despite the skewed years of experience for Al. Before the season, I ... [link]

Big Al or LMA?
Published 11/26/2007 by Jason N at The Moonball Blog
Cool post from Tom Ziller over at the Fanhouse, asking which young Western Conference big you'd rather have, Aldridge or Al Jeff. Basically, Ziller uses some Hollinger-ology to side with Aldridge. I have to say I agree with him, but not for any of the reasons he puts forth (though I agree with the basic point that Aldridge's inside/outside versatility is impressive - it can have a dark side of turning him into an outside chucker as his career progresses). You can tell already he has multiple offensive weapons at his disposal. More than half his shots have come on jumpers (and he hits a nice clip from there). Jefferson has also (surprisingly) taken more than half his shots from outside the paint. But he doesn't shoot those at a good ...

... Yeah, that's right, I love Darko. He got me 20 fantasy points last game, without even scoring a point. 5 blocks, on a bum hand, against the awesome T-Wolves!! Ok, so it was just against Minny, but still. This kid is gonna be a player yet. Watching our new man crush try to stop another young Western "man-child" should be very interesting. Its gonna be a ...
