... It’s finally happened…..the WWL (who I won’t link to) is firing back at the blogosphere and not in a nice way. For those of you who read TheBigLead (no need to link to it), sorry but one of your favorite sites is down for awhile because of ESPN Radio host, Colin Cowherd. You can read all about what ‘went down’. Consider yourself updated. Actually, the site went back up as I was writing this.

... OK. Before anybody starts pointing in our direction yelling, "Hey look! They're not saying anything! They must be with him!" We just want to make it clear that for the record, Gaslamp Ball hates Colin Cowherd too. That's just right at this moment, and it's nothing real personal or anything, but we don't want the angry mob of bloggers that's gathered to think that we're not cool. Cause hey. We're cool. ... It's been over 24 hours since The Big Lead was maliciously taken off the web by Colin Cowherd. (Who's now being called "Schrutebag" by the Deadspin universe) The more I think about what's happened over the past 24 hours, the more outraged I become.

... . For a few minutes this morning, TBL was back up and running (even had a link to one of our posts) but shortly after, it got overloaded again. What does this mean? A little sports blog has basically been shut down by an angry, bitter radio talk show host. Nice work, Cowherd and ESPN. Nothing like an 800-pound gorilla bitch-slapping a friggin ' mouse for the helluva it. You know, I never really liked Colin Cowherd but listened cuz it's sports radio and something is better than nothing. At least, that's what I thought until yesterday. As of now, ESPN radio, once my staple for drive time, is permanently off. Not that Cowherd, the narcissistic blowhard, gives a rat's ass. Deadspin
