The Bucks Have Great Chemistry Links10
Bogut's going it alone for now. Yep, it's been that kind of season: Andrew Bogut makes a free throw, and when no one seems to notice, he dreams up some better teammates for imaginary high-fives. Good times. Bogut was the lone bright spot last night , scoring 27 points, grabbing nine boards and blocking three shots before Marvin Williams' inadvertent rake across the face (no foul called) ... Andrew Bogut Is All Alone
Published 3/27/2008 by Chris at Intentional Foul
... one, he does what most free throw shooters do and looks for somebody to slap five with. But what happens when no one is there to return your request for a pound? Well, let’s see: I guess you wind up slapping hands with your invisible friends. It’s either that or Bogut was trying to make a point to the rest of his team. Something like, “where’s the love, guys?” H/T to Brew Hoop for this awesome find. Post from: Intentional Foul ...

No Man Is An Island

It could be worse, Bulls fans. Via Brew Hoop: I originally thought this was pretty funny, but then I remembered Big Sweet (I think) telling me about a friend of his who lives in Milwaukee who almost skipped a semester in college so that the Bucks could pay him to hang out with and just generally be Andrew Bogut's friend. When considered in tandem with this clip, I find Bogut's loneliness and alienation from his teammates almost heart-rending.

Andrew Bogut High Fives No One
Drew Olson at OnMilwaukee.com managed to find the clip of Andrew Bogut high-fiving the air after a made free-throw in Atlanta on Wednesday. I had watched it during the game and assumed I would never get to relive the moment, but thankfully someone caught it and put it up on YouTube. What does it mean? Well it’s amusing to say the least. A lot of OMC commenters went back and tried to ...
Andrew Bogut Appreciates His Imaginary Teammates
Poor Andrew Bogut. Based on this clip, it’s safe to assume that his teammates have abandoned him — indeed, after nailing a free throw, Bogut stuck out his hands to receive high fives from his fellow Bucks, but his teammates were nowhere to be found. Ultimately, the big man resorted to high-fiving several imaginary friends: Good Lord, I knew things had gotten bad in Milwaukee, ...
Me And Andrew Bogut Like Andrew Bogut
A while ago - about two years, to be inexact - I wrote this: .......one of my most extreme pet hates is the hand slapping after a free throw. It seems to lead to nothing but awkwardness. What if the free throw shooter doesn't step forward, leaving himself agonizingly out of reach of the rebounder? They're then both left to slap air. Does one of them make the final push to close the gap? Or do ...
Andrew Bogut is crazy, lonely.
If you want to know why the Milwaukee Bucks won't make the playoffs this year look no further than Andrew Bogut's routine after making a free throw. Apparently team chemistry is not the Bucks' strong point. Imaginary friends are not the answer, Andrew.
