Heading out the door, so this will be brief. I apologize. The line is Wizards by 8, and the over/under for Butler/Jamison is 42.9 points. ... and, more importantly, here to understand why this is silly. The Bullets are NOT better off without Gil, they are worse. The fact that players who ought to have improved have, indeed, improved, does not say anything about Gilbert Arenas. When Agent Zero comes back healthy, he will blast people like Mr Kelly into a sullen and resentful silence. ...

Since Gilbert went down with his most recent knee injury, there have been some that have clamored that the Wizards should trade Gilbert since they’re “better” without him. Now we all know that that assertion is ridiculous and just out and out incorrect, but even if the Wizards were “better” there’s one clear reason why the Wizards should never get rid of Gil.
