Chris Cooley and Men Looking at Men Peeing
Published 5/7/2008 by Alejandro de los Rios at Dejuiced! Sports News with No Boundaries
... If you haven’t heard, Chris Cooley of the Washington Redskins has his own blog over with Yahoo! Sports. It’s highly entertaining if you want to know the thoughts of a pro football player or, say, if you want to know what it’s like to pee while another man stares intently at your penis (from the blog): ...
Chris Cooley's Urine
Published 5/7/2008 by Dan Steinberg at D.C. Sports Bog
Chris Cooley's Urine Chris Cooley is about five days away from leaving pro football and becoming a full-time reporter. Well, he would be if full-time reporters landed groupies, eight-figure contracts, sports cars, cheerleaders, free sport performance beverages and as much job security as can-be-cut-at-any-moment pro football players. The point is, this is one of the best ledes I've ever read , from Cooley's latest at ...

Published 5/7/2008 at The Sporting Blog
... a couple months ago, and a few weeks ago, started blogging over at Y! s Shutdown Corner. His writing is always extremely honest, insightful and, mostly, hilarious. But what he brought to us today is perhaps the greatest blogging from a pro athlete of all-times. (Aside: Cooley definitely should ve been on that Costas Now panel in place of Braylon Edwards.) In a post titled Adventures in NFL drug testing, Cooley gives a first-hand account of the NFL ...

... having stage fright in that type of situation. I mean, what would I have done? Chat it up with Bill over a couple of beers while he stared at my junk?"
Good stuff. Seriously, if for some reason, some extremely viable reason, the benefits of sports blogging surpassed those of professional football players, Cooley would have himself a hell of a career if he was so inclined.

Did Portis Hurt Himself Racing Landry?
Published 5/8/2008 by Jamie Mottram at Mr. Irrelevant
... when Portis and safety LaRon Landry raced against each other Sunday.
Are you kidding me? Did Portis really hurt himself during the dash-off? Why is Zorn theorizing about anything? When is Reid going to get the truth on what, with apologies to Fred Davis, is the biggest story of these OTAs?
So many questions, so few answers. Though we all know this is probably just an excuse for Clinton to skip practice.

Published 5/9/2008 at The Sporting Blog
... (without ever giving any credit to where he got the excerpt from , of course), which transitioned nicely into this: My sincere apologies for leaving about eight seconds worth of Rome speaking at the end of the clip. I just kinda found him saying ten dollar rubber donger to be funny. I fully realize that was about eight seconds more of his voice than you needed to hear today. Or ever.

Chris Cooley Blogs to Put Brother Through Medical School, Plans to Make $250K
Published 6/7/2008 by Ryan Wilson at FanHouse
... doesn't work out, Redskins tight end Chris Cooley should think about making some of those "how to get rich by sitting on your ass" infomercials. He's been blogging for all of four months, and he expects to pull in $250,000 by the end of the year (Calendar? Fiscal? Does it matter?), primarily from sponsorships and memorabilia sales. Obviously, a lot of Cooley's online success has to do with the fact that he's wildly popular, and his willingness to open up about, well, anything. I can't imagine, say, Todd Collins having such success. (Fred ...
