I have to say this: "I cannot wait to see the movie "The Express", about Ernie Davis." I think that the movie will go way beyond the achievements on the field of a running back that broke records as well as color barriers. I am all for the premiere to be held in Syracuse and when the DVD comes out I am going to be one of the first to have it, that is how much this movie means to me.

Even if it's up in the rafters, can the legend of the 44 come down once more and give this Syracuse football team the jolt it needs to turn their destiny around? Maybe I watched "The Express" trailer too many times. Maybe I think of that magical number and think of years past and the fame it carried. Maybe I think that Syracuse can find another great back to rival the 44's of old.
