David West scored a playoff career-high 30 points on 13-23 field goal shooting as the New Orleans Hornets beat the San Antonio Spurs 101-82. Chris Paul struggled with his shot for most of the game but he finished with 17 points on 7-16 shooting in addition to having 13 assists, though a careful review of the tape calls into serious question the scorekeeping practices in New Orleans.Hornets - Spurs Game 2: What to Look For

NBA -- The Spurs find themselves down 2-0 in a playoff series for the first time since 2001 as the Hornets blew past them in the second half of Game 2, a quick 10-0 run helping to expand a 1-point halftime deficit to a 102-84 win . I’ll believe the Spurs are out of the playoffs when they’re actually out of the playoffs, meaning someone has beaten them four games out of seven. The Spurs being down 2-0 is not any other team being down by the margin that usually means playoff doom. But let’s say this does not look good for San Antonio when their big three guys can’t break 20 points in a game. ...Spurs-Hornets Game 2 Live Blog

In the first game of this series, it was all about Chris Paul's efficiency and David West's dominance. Paul had a nice line of 17 and 13, while West outscored Tim Duncan 30 to freaking five . For Timmy to come up with just five points and three rebounds in a playoff game, something must have been seriously wrong with him (bad gumbo?), and for the Spurs to have any shot in this series, ...Spurs-Hornets Preview
