The KSK Guide To Being An Insufferable A--Hole S--thead F--kface Fan Of Boston-Area Sports Teams
With the Red Sox advancing to the World Series, Boston College still undefeated, KG moving to the Celtics, and this year’s Patriots in the process of becoming the best team in the history of the NFL (and you’re a fucking idiot if you don’t accept the reality of that), we are on the verge of witnessing a perfect storm of douchebaggery emanating from the greater Boston area. We’re talking the ... [link]

Great expose on Massholes.  I can't wait for a Rockies win, the inevitable Brady knee blowout (karma, baby), and a Doc Rivers classic performance.....hopefully then, the bandwagon Boston fans will just go away.

Curt Schilling is Monday Morning Gloaterback

... with the kids and the blogs and the Everquest and all, but it would sure be nice if he just sat a few plays like this out. We get it, you like Tito. You’re also all rich and famous and will never have to pay for alcohol in Boston again, so there’s no reason to construct a phony persecution scenario. You are among the richest of the rich, and the most popular of the popular. You are the cool kids at the cafeteria table of life. Just relax. And Boston fans wonder why we’re all not suddenly rooting for them. Tags: Curt ...

One thing that makes true New England fans stand out is not so much that we are generally despised (even by self-hating nutmeggers), but more so that we loathe everyone else just as much. We are a mean, competitive bunch - we wiped out an entire indigenous people immediately after they taught us to survive the shitty ass weather. Native Americans thought we should live as one with nature in a sustainable manner? Eff that. We chopped down all the trees, reproduced beyond capacity, and spent our time alternately praising ...

... And the fact of the matter is, I still think they are like The Texas Longhorns in that they are consistently overrated in repuation in comparison to production. (Or to explain it for the average KSK reader: They suck cock like it was Peter King kneeling at the feet of Brett Favre). But the fact of the matter is it doesn’t mean I wish I hadn’t thought of this first. 11. Adopt the attitude that you, yes you, DESERVE this success. “Hey, we Pats fans know how it used to be back in the day. We earned these titles.” Don’t treat your team’s ...

But, as much I want to despise everything that has to do with the Patriots, I can't bring myself to cheer against Randy Moss. The '98 Moss is back, and the long toss to him is once again the most exciting play in football. I don't have it in me to hate him, especially when he's catching 50-yard passes with his fucking ...

I think we all agree that since late in the 2004 season (possibly sooner), there's been a large contingent of Sox fans which are...well, pretty much awful. This article describes that in great (probably too much) brutality. Sox fans in general are now basically seen as another version of Yankees fans, only worse because (1) our team is actually winning now, and (2) most non-Yankees fans sort of liked the Red Sox before the fans became insufferable. ...
