Lady Vols Defeat Aggies; Advance to Final Four

Despite Candace Parker dislocating her shoulder twice, the All-American center still managed to score 26 points to lead the Tennessee Lady Vols past the Texas A&M Aggies 53-45 Tuesday night in the Oklahoma City Regional final. The victory marked the Lady Vols 18th appearance in the Final Four, and sixth in the past seven seasons.

The Tennessee Lady Volunteers had to claw their way to the women's NCAA basketball championship game, needing an Alexis Hornbuckle tip-in with .07 seconds remaining to lift the Lady Vols past SEC rival LSU 47-46 Sunday night in the national semifinals.
