... The Wall Street Journal has a nice piece today on the history of the MLB logo and Yankee fan Jerry Dior, the long uncredited designer who created it in 1968. The logo is a great piece of design, as its many imitators (including the fine Jerry West NBA version) attest, one of the great signatures of the sport. Dior deserves recognition for this landmark mark, and we're pleased to give it to him here.
