The NBA's next target: India. Why India? Why not?

Why India? Economic reasons initially (over a billion people, developing middle class, not soccer crazy) as the NBA can make a lot of money on TV deals as professional sports don't get much air play. There's also a subtle social agenda as well -- but really, you kinda want to give it a shot just for the chance to see this guy in the Turban yelling at refs in Punjabi as an assistant coach, right?
