If everything goes right the rest of the week, Eric Byrnes will do some minor league rehab this weekend and then will be re-activated for Monday’s game vs, the Red Sox at Fenway. EB reports running full out without pain and if that holds up, he just needs to see some live pitching under game conditions. Needless to say Byrnesie is delighted to see the light at the end of the tunnel and so am I!! Now, Byrnesie, you’ll be so happy to be playing again that you might be tempted to swing at anything and everything. But remember that you can’t steal first, so swing at the strikes and take the balls. Walks ...
