The Transaction Guy — According to Braves.com, Atlanta pitcher Tom Glavine will be placed on the DL following tonight’s game against the Dodgers with a strained right hamstring. This will be Glavine’s first trip to the DL ever, and keep in mind, the guy’s a three hundred game winner and is forty-two. It’s pretty amazing that he’s avoided major injuries his whole career. But not this time. He left his start last Sunday in the first inning, but still thought that he’d be able to go tomorrow against LA.
